The villa is about 500 meters distance from the Atlantic Ocean, so you can hear the surf. The nearest beach is about 3 km but, as we are on a high plateau.
A car is necessary.

A large reservoir additional swimming and fishing fun. Ideal for running or walking, one lap around the reservoir is 3 miles. The beach of Praia de Amoreira "features a bizarre landscape of dunes with a broad estuary quite excellent for swimming and splashing. Because of the warm, shallow waters of this beach is a dream for large and small children .
In Vale da Telha there are two supermarkets, several restaurants with good local cuisine. Many wonderful walks on the high plateau with a breathtaking, stunning views of the rugged coast and the Atlantic.
The town of Aljezur is 7 km away with cozy restaurants, quaint pubs and shops. Culture historical museum and the ruins with views to the Monchique Mountains. 
The Western Algarve is among connoisseurs as one of the most beautiful coasts of southern Europe.
